A Preview of LG AI Talk Concert 2022

LG AI Talk Concert, an event organized by LG AI Research to reflect on the year's accomplishments, will return on December 8. Held for the first time last year, LG AI Talk Concert drew a great deal of attention due to the wealth of information about LG AI Research delivered by various staff members. Presenting the LG AI Talk Concert, which has returned this year with more information.  

In the keynote speech, Chief of LG AI Research Kyunghoon Bae will present the major accomplishments of LG AI Research, including the fundamental research, current status of joint research beyond industry and academia, and various activities to secure global leadership in the field of AI. In particular, he will discuss the new challenges and future directions that LG AI Research will be pursuing, as well as the research that is being conducted in each expert area of the Expert AI Alliance, which is active in a wide range of professional fields to assist people in various ways. 

The keynote speech will be followed by Chief Scientist of AI (CSAI) Honglak Lee, a world-renowned scholar in the field of AI, who will discuss the features of the newly enhanced EXAONE model and the technologies used in each field. In addition, achievements made in 2022 will be presented by leaders who have led LG AI Research through Expert AI Applications for customers, creators, corporate productivity and scientific discovery. 

Having completed its second year in business, LG AI Research will provide an overview of the wide range of fundamental research it has conducted. In particular, the current standing of LG AI Research, which has actively conducted joint research with academia and industry in collaboration with numerous research institutes, and the fundamental research direction of LG AI research, which will grow even more in the future, are scheduled to be presented. 

To conclude, we will set aside some time to talk about principles of AI ethics, which are becoming increasingly important as the field of AI research develops rapidly. In order to add more value to customers’ life beyond technology and to make our society healthy and sustainable, we will take this opportunity to introduce the AI ethics principles and related research that have been developed in accordance with the management philosophy of the LG Group.
